When Quynn was called to shamanize, she journeyed often, for many purposes.  Each journey led her to new place, helped her understand her past, and introduced her to her soul guardians.  After each experience she wrote it all down, which eventually led to her writing her book "A Tribe of One".

Now, you can journey and practice in the privacy of your own home and on your own schedule.  The Institute for the Shamanic Arts offers different classes and tools for you!

By practicing at home, you will learn to do the following:

On-line Shamanic Journeying Courses:
The shamanic journey is an amazing tool for exploration and personal growth. Each week in Tucson Quynn Elizabeth offers workshops which teach people to use the shamanic journey to focus on various aspects of healing and spiritual development, for themselves.  The results are profound! So now folks in any town or city can participate in this fascinating adventure of the self.

Register for a shamanic journeying course of your choice.  Take one, or every one!
Every full moon Quynn offers a shamanic journeying course focusing on a particular area of shamanizing. Each course is based on classes offered at The Institute for the Shamanic Arts and is formatted to insure that each participant receives information from their spirit world. They are perfect for folks with all levels of experience.

When you register for a particular course, within three days before the full moon of the course you choose, you will receive by email:

-Background information about the course subject, written by Quynn Elizabeth, founder of The Institute for the Shamanic Arts
-Instructions and focuses for four different shamanic journeys to be completed over the first two week period.  Four more journeys will be sent after two weeks (at the new moon).
-Guidance for ways to incorporate the information one receives during the four week period.

Writing down journeys is a vital part of the learning process so each registrant will be expected to write thoroughly about each of their journeys, what happened and your responses/questions. Quynn feels that writing (longhand or computer) one’s journey experiences dramatically increases retention and understanding of the wisdom received.

At the half way point (after two weeks), each participant will send a version of their writings, questions and revelations to Quynn for review and response.

At the end of the course, participants will receive an online evaluation, to reflect on what was learned and examine any questions. Quynn will review and respond.

Cost:  $28 for each one moon (full moon to full moon) course
Registration is limited for each course to insure personal interaction w/ Quynn.

Every person has an inner world as vast as the world around us.  Using the shamanic journey one can connect with helpers and teachers, heal past pains and navigate through their inner wilderness.  This course focuses on the exploration of the world within.  A fascinating experience!

“BUTTERFLY JOURNEY”
“I journeyed. My body danced and then I thought of the butterfly. I imitated it and went to a flower. I went down the stem into the ground. I went (at this point I was the butterfly) down to a butterfly world. Then I was a person on the back of a butterfly. In the world below I get small and butterfly was huge. Butterfly is androgynous. I was with the Queen/King butterfly. When I realized this I gave it many gifts. Sugar, wine, colored “dust” for its wings. Many things. I was in awe. In my vision I only saw parts of it. I realized this was out of respect. I couldn’t look at her/him straight on. Then I got the feeling of another guide, he is a fairy. He said that he has been showing himself to me (projecting himself as butterfly). He has wings in fairy form. He said I am one of them. winged creatures. They bless me with gifts which is their feathers and presence. (Today -twice a bird flew over me and cawed). After a while I remembered to ask if he had any gifts for me. S/he was happy I asked. She put a crystal behind my right eye (for sight) and then a crystal in the sole of my left foot (to feel the rhythm)”

”I figured Bear would come as my watcher but it was Eagle. I was surprised. Then I traveled to a forest and really enjoyed rolling in the dark earth as wolf. Then down the tunnel and at the end of the tunnel I was stopped. It was a round “cap”. I opened it and I was in a deep forest and all the creatures were there. Everyone from deer, bear, butterfly, and lots of other strange creatures This was their ‘base’, their home. They were being very social wit each other. it was a party. when I stepped in one of them saw me and said “she’s here” Everyone was excited to see me. Then I realized that I had come to their world. I immediately felt touched. I had made it. I was in their world.
I then asked if any of them were my guides? They said to me not to ask such stupid questions. They said that they are all my guides and they will all help me when need be.”
