Arts Program for Girls
“Kraft” means “Strength” in German.  WomanKraft Art Center has been instructing, promoting and empowering women artists in Tucson, Arizona since 1974.  In 1990 Gayle Swanbeck started the WomanKraft School of the Arts and in 2005 Quynn Elizabeth added a program for Girls aged 13-19.

Making art is not just about learning to paint or draw well, holistic instruction enhances one’s self esteem to allow their art to come forth. An “artist” sees the artful world around her and collaborates with it to make something new to share.

In the spring of 2006, the following class was offered at WomanKraft.  Additional classes will be added in in the fall of 2006,  so stay tuned.
