Quynn Elizabeth, modern female explorer and founder of The Institute for the Shamanic Arts in Tucson, Arizona is the producer, director and host.

'The Wanderer' follows Quynn as she travels, with a video camera and a notebook computer, documenting the last beautiful, and often devastated, natural places in the Western United States.

In its third season, “The Wanderer” covers subjects that need to be shared, such as tree clearcutting, ocean and beach issues, “dead zones”, dam deconstructions around the west, as well as many environmental and social issues that affect each of us.

“I have learned about Nature and the state of our Nation as an adult, and I have been shocked to see what is happening to the land, sea and air.  I am also awed by the beauty and complexity of Nature, when it is allowed to flourish.
I understand that while many folks care deeply about the last great places around the West, most aren’t able to monitor these places for themselves.  This is why I travel and share what I find with You.
It’s our world, let’s make the most of it!”      Quynn Elizabeth
